elizabethmccoyI'm still working out whether enough people might be watching this blog/journal to make it worth being chatty, or if that would only make things cluttered.
I have a cover for Shadow of a Memory, the direct-sequel to Wahnt, but I am not sure I like the coloring job I did, and therefore haven't posted about it.
However, I have the art for one of my full-length fantasy stories, and am absolutely over the moon about it! I will post a link to the artist's page once she's got it up, but it. is. awesome. I was shopping this book (pair of books, actually) around, hoping for traditional publishing... But I'm too new, they're too long, and I've been hearing too many horror-stories about rights-grabs from big publishers. I decided to take them to self-publishing, and... The art, ye gods and little fishies, the art. The ability to make suggestions, to pick one's own artist, to make fiddly nitpicks. It is amazing. (And so, might I add, is the artist and the art!)
